During these unprecedented times our in-person meeting opportunity is on hold. In the most inopportune times we must explore new ways to engage. To maintain a level of normalcy we’re hosting a number of virtual lunch & learns to help you earn continuing education units (CEU) while working from home.
Our AIA/IDCEC accredited course focuses on light management when specifying shading solutions and fabrics for occupant wellness and LEED credits. Although we can’t indulge you with artisan sandwich bites and open discussion, we do invite you to join us to earn 1 CEU.
Here are our upcoming CEU course offerings:

The course is presented by Bill Coutz, LEED GA, Commercial Business Development Manager, who brings over 25+ years of Commercial Shading Industry experience. This course provides detailed description of design solutions using interior fabric shades. The focus of the topics covered are to provide clarification based on science that assist the specifier in choosing the best fit for their design.
Learning objectives include:
• Develop design strategies to connect building occupants to the outdoors through nature
views while effectively controlling heat and glare to maximize occupant productivity
• Facilitate new thinking for design challenges in achieving green building credits relating
to daylighting, quality views, and thermal comfort with shade control systems
• Understand the importance of transparency documentation relating to material
screening of the chemical composition testing for complete shading systems
• Differentiate design applications for shading system control by manual users, motorized
components, or whole building automation and how control creates the potential for
energy savings
We hope to see you there! Stay safe and be well.
